I’d first like to thank you for supporting me in visiting my website. Even if you don’t purchase anything, I appreciate you taking the time to click on the link and browse. It truly means the world.
The word “Nizhoni”, interestingly enough, is actually my middle name. It means “beautiful” in Navajo. However, the definition of Nizhoni goes far beyond the constraints of physical appearances. Beauty, in my opinion, is not simply defined by vanity or what is considered pleasing to the eye. Beauty is found in the monotonous rhythms of everyday life, the utterly mundane, and the trying valleys we may find ourselves in. It’s found in the sound of delirious laughter at 2am, the smell of rain in the afternoon, the brilliant colors of a painted sky, lazy Saturday afternoons, the satisfaction of completing a daunting task, and the taste of over priced coffee.
Life is a beautiful thing that we, because of Jesus, have the privilege of experiencing. Although pieces of art, music, creation, and the masterpiece that is a Chipotle burrito are all fascinating expressions of beauty, I think the most magnificent display is the sacrifice Jesus paid on the cross on our behalf that we may experience life to the fullest and spend eternity with him. My goal for this brand is not only to share my art with others, but to show people that beauty can certainly be found in every aspect of our seemingly dull day to day lives. Even further than this, my hope is that people begin to see how loved and treasured they are in the eyes of the Creator. Although it seems insignificant, my prayer is that God would use this as a tool to advance and further his kingdom; that this little platform would bring glory to him and extol his name. Again, I thank you for your love and support. Have the best day!
So much love,
